Baking from a very young age in my mother’s kitchen, I developed a love for all things sweet.
At 18 I set up ‘Lizzie’s Larder’ which sold cakes, desserts and sweet treats to restaurants, cafes and delis across Liverpool. The business grew and I had a small team baking for me.
However, after a few years, I realised, design, decoration and wedding cakes were my true passion. I then trained in Manchester for three years before starting my luxury wedding cake business – Elizabeth Harris.
Alongside designing and creating high-end luxury wedding cakes, I also teach sugarcraft from my studio in Liverpool. For the last few years I have also been lucky enough to teach sugarcraft at Renshaw Academy as well.
